We had a great stay at a guesthouse in Melaka. The bed was incredibly comfortable and provided a much-needed rest after a long day of exploring. The convenience of having an electric kettle and a table fan in the room was also a plus. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk to all the key attractions in Malacca. The host was very communicative and accommodating, making our check-in process hassle-free. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this guesthouse for its value for money.

This hotel was useful base for exploring Malacca, loved it. Room price is just right - MYR 318. It was a perfect location for us.

We had a fantastic stay at Melaka Jonker Tan Cheng Lock Guesthouse! the owner and staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. the room was spacious and the bed was the best I've ever slept in - the mattress and pillows were so comfortable. the guesthouse is conveniently located just 2 minutes away from Jonker walk, with plenty of restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed a great cup of coffee at the shop downstairs. it was excellent value for money and I highly recommend it.

Mind-blowing value for money! Superb double room with private bathroom, aircon, and Wi-Fi. The location is jaw-droppingly amazing, just steps away from all the attractions. The shower offers both hot and cold water options, perfect for beating the Melakan heat. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs, even allowing us to check-in late and return after check-out. They provide all the essential amenities, like a kettle, hairdryer, and iron. And the bed is unbelievably comfortable. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse. The location was perfect, just a two-minute walk from the bustling Jonker Street and close to many tourist points. It was also very convenient as it was near the Melaka Sentral bus depot for easy transportation. The staff were friendly and cooperative, making my check-in at 3.30 am hassle-free. The room was comfortable and clean, with a comfortable bed and good air conditioning. The guesthouse provided amenities like a kettle, hairdryer, and iron, which added to the convenience. I couldn't fault anything during my stay.

There were some negatives to our experience. The bathroom was not as clean as we would have liked, with hairs and a cockroach found in the drain.

Great location in the heart of the city. Rooftop terrace for some top-notch Instagram shots. Free parking and free WiFi to keep me entertained between sightseeing.

Who needs natural light and fresh air when you can have wooden shutters and insects in your room? And let's not forget the TV that was just for show.
